Default calling down a maniac

Villan will play any ace and most face cards for multiple raises preflop. Standard river call? I was 90% sure the donk meant an ace. Do I call anyway for future hands?

Limit: $10/$20

If you are 90% sure then pot odds dictate a fold. If he really is a maniac, then I don't know how you can be so sure.

Standard call imo. Aggressive players like to donk(bluff) such a rivercard. This time he had an Ace, next time he'll have KT, QJ, QT or worse.

You need a very good reason to fold any pair against a maniac, regardless of the circumstances. Folding second pair for one bet on the river would be a crime against humanity.

This is a simple call in a short game - he may just bet bc he was gonna call anyway and the ace is a scare card. For what it's worth, I wait for the turn to raise here. If it was king high rags, I may just let him bet the whole way and possibly raise on the river (basically, just ensure a bet goes in every street). I mix this up a decent bit though.

People donk / fold all kinds of crap on the river. I wouldn't be surprsied to see a Q or 7 here. Not at all.

Against a maniac I prefer to just call the flop bet and wait to pop him on an expensive street, unless he's one of those rare uber-maniacs who will never stop raising with anything.
