VPN problem (sorta time sensitive, please help if you can).
so I am in thailand and am using a VPN. It is SLOW, like WAY slower than any thing I do directly from my PC. I have a dedicated server with a 7mbps connection but it is slower than a 56K dial up for me. My internet connection here avges 1.5mbps and is very fast for when I bypass the VPN.
Support said it has something to do with my geographical area and pretty much are saying they can't do anything. Do you think this problem would be solved if I'd get a new server in a different country. My server is currently in Vancouver, think it could fix the problem if I get one based in Europe or asia somewhere? Would another Canadian one possibly work? Please help.. Thank you, Ski |
