You raised preflop, opponent might not automatically put you on AK on that flop. He could just think you have AA, and will try and move you off with any king, not necessarily full here. I probably felt here with the style I play and what I expect opponents to play back at me with.
However if the opponent in this case has been playing 'honestly' in your opinion and you haven't been making any moves yourself (in that opponent hasn't seen you bluff, so knows you have to have something here) and he plays back at you, yes you fold.

I definitely felt, you may be ahead and have a lot of outs.

Is checking the turn behind bad?
That's probably what I would do.

At PLO25 I felt this, and wouldn't be surprised if your gutshot outs are good too.

I don't like checking the turn behind because you are always getting action from Kxxx if you bet.

not to mention you'd be giving a free card with two flush draws out there. checking behind is absolutely terrible.

If hero's gutshot outs are good hero does not need to hit any gutshot to win the pot. Do you see why?

wrong, if you are up against AK45 or something the gutshot outs (you have 2 gutshots in fact) add a lot to your equity.
