UK - Where to Invest my £4000
Just cashed out £4000 from my bankroll to invest.
My goal is to save at least £40k with a view to putting down a deposit on a house. I am guessing the timeframe for me to save this much to be in the region of 12-30 months and I will not intend to touch the money before that time. What's my best option? |

High interest savings account or CD.

Hi. I'm in a similar position. What exactly is a CD? I'm a complete noob, verging on idiot!
Are ISA's not the best way to invest the first £3k? |

Re: UK - Where to Invest my £4000
always invest in ISA for your first £3k. even if you end out withdrawing, at least you had a chance of keeping it in there enjoying tax free interest for years to come.
either way though just stick it in cash ISA or high interest account. |
