To all the people saying they looooove hand 3.

It isn't a bad line to mix in vs some aggressive thinking opponents but def shouldn't be standard. You prob get more value 3barreling in the long run than out of the river raise.

Also, its not a play you really ever see but villain can 3bet pot the river and ray pretty much is never calling anything as ray never shows up with 2pair/set here while villain can have hit the str8/random2pair/whatnot.

that would actually be really sick if villain turned a thin river value bet into a bluff.

However, you were in the game and have much better feel for the villain in the hand and the river raise obv gets a lot of curiousity calls. (works on me too much, i hate bet/folding rivers heh

i take the hand one line a bunch. you have to be fairly certain he's going to bet the turn though. If he checks the turn through you now get to a tricky river spot. If you check again, you risk losing a lot of value. If you bet (depending on the card) you risk being in a really sick spot if you are raised, since the guy seems agro but not awful. None of that is to say that the turn line is bad, but you should definitely think about what you're getting into (and how likely it is that you will get a bet on that street) before you undertake it.

Hand 1 I like.

Hand 2: Gotta raise somewhere. If you don't raise the turn, it will be hard to get a lot of money in.

Hand 3: I like the turn check a lot. The river raise is a bit too large for my tastes. I'd prolly make it 3,000. You don't want him to fold a queen. Obviously you have to fold to a river 3 bet.

In hand 3, I think against guys like Cajelias you are gonna get a lot more value from hands like KQ if you just 3 barrel it then if you take this line.

Agreed, and I agree with Justin on the making it 3k, when I was reading the hand I thought outloud "makes it 3k" but saw 3500 and thought he probably folds a lot of hands because it doesn't look nearly as bluffy.
