Imagine if everybody took your idea and ran with it. There would be no tips for dealers. So the dealers would all quit en masse. Or possibly the casinos would institute a special rake per hand for the dealers. Then only the bad dealers would stay.

If you never tipped and everybody else did, even if the dealers acted professionally which I have seen most do in that case, you might not get full support from your fellow players if you had a grievance with a dealer/other player. Because we would all think of you as a freeloader.
