Two awful hands, would like some advice

Was playing the midnight $24 Stud Tourney on FTP, and was doing pretty decent, until two hands just destroyed me. I think I played them right and just got unlucky to first, the chip leader who is a total donkey, and then a relatively small stack who was stubborn.

Any advice? Both guys ended up with a flush.

2nd hand you can fold on 5th street to raise. Given those shown cards, flush was the logical hand. I am guessing that it hand #1 villian had 6 of heart under. Hand #1 I just cant imagine folding since on 6th street villian is likely queens and sixes and you are getting 9 outs. tough luck on that one.

The first hand is fine -- what more/different could you have done? You didn't miss any bets and applied pressure throughout when it was logical. He just hung in there and ran you down.

The second hand is probably a fold on 5th. With just a pair of jacks at that point, I am not paying him off for two more streets. Pick a better spot.
