Beat: Can\'t think of a paper topic, and it\'s only a freakin\' outline
I hate my philosophy class. He actually expects us to work. Reflections on reading, two term papers and essay exams. Just screw you, dude. Anyhow, I need an outline for a paper topic about this guy:
 Jean Jacques Rousseau Democracy, rights of man, etc. I hate this. If anyone has any ideas (or a term paper  ) that would be sweet.I do realize my expectations are way too high and: [X] thread does not deliver Brag: at least I have Caddyshack on

He's one of the social contract guys. I guess if you had to pick one he would be "the" social contract guy. The French Revolution was essentially based on his "The Social Contract".

Compare Rousseau's philosophy of humans being free, happy, nice-to-each-other biengs with Hobbes' view that society is a phallacy, and human existence is essentially solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.
Call it 'Hobbes=Monday Morning to Friday 6pm, Rousseau=Friday nights + weekends'
