I am a fan of a playoff system where 3 plays 6 and 4 plays 5, followed by 1 playing the lower advancing seed and 2 the higher. The winners of this round would then play for all the beans
All of these would be played on neutral sites. IMO these games would be a huge draw. Since the Sugar/Orange/Rose bowl would lose some of their significance with 1-6 out of the picture, maybe they could rotate being the championship game |

I've always been a fan of a similar playoff system, with the five games in the tournament serving as the five BCS "Bowl" games (or if you want to do a four-team playoff, use three of the Bowls and rotate it each year).
I fail to see why this wouldn't work for all parties. |

If the winners of the tournament are Pac10/Big10 champs gogo Rose Bowl. |
