Any chance this was in the chicago land earlier. I was at a game last night with someone finishing roughly around there.

Cleveland suburb. i was in the game for $600 and cashed out $350. the biggest loser was down about 2k. someone stratled almost ever hand for $5.

So it was pretty much a 1/2/5 game. But isn't the stradle only double the bb. Thus a $5 bet is actually a blind bet.

Most places I've played the straddle can be up to 4x the BB, or 8 dollars. So 5 would still have live action IMO

the straddle is either $4 or $5 players chose. no big deal i think? and cleveland guy pm me if u want.
