However in this case, since his kicker is poor, and she may actually be scared enough to play a weak king like this, he should check.

But there are three big factors here: 1. It's VERY likely someone has a ten with a better kicker, and the SB's bet into the field says she has something. This is the biggest negative in my mind. You have second pair with a TERRIBLE kicker. 2. A king isn't impossible. People love to slowplay live. 3. There are too many people to act after you. Getting 3-bet or cold-called is a disaster for you given how little you have invested in the pot. Raising is obviously better than calling, but I think it's the wrong play. As played, I'd check the river. A ten with a better kicker is her most likely hand, and she's not folding any better hands to a river bet. If she has a flush draw, she's folding anyway. Unless she's so bad that she'd call your turn raise with a small pocket pair or something, check and hope.

I meant "how exactly did she hold her chips." I know that it is usually a deterent to betting and basically a weak tell. I was just interested in if he meant she just checked with her chip holding hand or if she was more obvious and held her chips with an extended arm pretending that she was calling 100%. I guess it actually wouldn't make too much difference here.
