Re: FW 20 KQo in the CO
[ QUOTE ]
I don't see a river value bet here. (unless mp is really bad, with something like Q10) [/ QUOTE ] actually if QT is at the bottom of MP's range, then we need to check behind on the river. I bet though, and yes of course I fold to a CR. |

Re: FW 20 KQo in the CO

[ QUOTE ] whats the question? Barron [/ QUOTE ] I rarely heck behind flops and am trying to learn better spots to do it. I feel like it changes the whole dynamic of the hand. Was a check on all streets. [/ QUOTE ] hand seems v standard. if you are typically betting in that spot it isn't good. you have to check behind flops like that. you have 2 overs and limpers that are not going to fold and may raise you putting you in a tough spot. you are (relatively speaking) absolutely never winning that pot ont eh flop for 1 bet. i would bet here w/ like AK/AQ (for value, possible free turn card, easier decisions) but check KJs/KQo KQs etc. type hands. one thing here is the reverse of the "i'd rather have KQo on a 963 board and call a c'r than AK since i can be reverse dominated." here, KJ,QJ etc. are more likely than AJ so calling a c'r w/ AK is easier than KQ. anyways, KQ check behind flop. raise turn, bet river fold to c'r. once the flop is checked around, everybody is suspicious. easy easy easy not even close value bet on the river if checked to. no other way to play it. Barron [/ QUOTE ] Really? Put yourself in mp's position. What hands are you paying off with here the way the hand was played? |
