Default Paired board question

Last night and Bodog AND Absolute it seemed like there were a lot of paired boards on the flop.

What percentage of time SHOULD the board be paired????

IN 200 hands that I went through it happed 52 times. The board was paired 52 times on the flop!

I hit my set ONCE and had top boat on the turn . . . .and lost! Think I lost a lot of $$ on that one? YUP!

Hmm that's an interesting question. So we're looking for the probability that given a certain card on the board, at least one (or precisely one?) of the other four cards are of the same rank right?

A little less than 17%. If you want it exactly 3*(52*3*48)/(52*51*50).
