FTP is unbearable

Although I have a pretty good deal for playing at FTP I'm serious considering moving to another site where I can play with some lag, not the ridiculous performance i'm getting ATM. Looks like this has been on for a long time already, could anybody point me something that could easily increase performance to the playable level before I kiss FTP goodbye?

Anything more then 5 tables is auto disconnect for me. I have also noticed more and more other players getting constant discs,

Yeah I play like 8 tables and sometimes I'll constantly get d/c..gets frustrating when you get dealt AA/KK and you have to auto fold!

Do a search, there's a whole thread filled with ideas about ways to decrease lag. They may or may not help you, but worth trying.

my connection is horrible but the time bank saves me EVERY TIME.

You can't click anything (including the time bank) if it's lagging the way it sometimes lags for some people.
