I don't understand what ppl aren't getting. There's no particular reason for OP to talk to her during class, and he's not "purposely" avoiding it, he just sits 10 rows away, so why get up?

Also, as far as "honey" and "babe", some girls do that right away, so don't read too much into it, but the marriage-like comment, most sane girls know not to make, for the reason that it scares guys. So, yeah, run.

Apparently not, but I'm more disturbed by the already-picking-out-china-pattern clinginess of the broad. I think the comment about making money because she wants to be a congresswoman wasn't her being clingy, but more of a joke while also trying to change the subject to talk about her. I think since we're getting the OP's take on things, it's going to sound bad.
