UTG+1 is 24/12, 88% C-bet, 80% fold to c-bet 4/2/5 f/t/r aggression. Seemed like a good spot for a raise, did I play this ok?

If he folds to a c-bet 80% of the time, why did you not c-bet? I dont like the play, if you can't follow up, dont 3 bet it pf.

no they wouldn't. At least they shouldn't. It is unlikely you're going to get more value from your hand by checking your AA/ AK in most cases.

you would need villain to catch a miracle card to get any action anyways

Is he aware of that ?
Anyway i'm betting with AK this flop every day. AA I think I bet/check behind 50/50. KK I often check but can bet. I think it's a mistake to always check behind this flop (because I suppose u don't bet with AQ/QQ/JJ either).

I'm not checking this flop with AK or KK and against a lot of players, especially ones that like to float, I'll be betting AA as well. With KK my c-bet is going to take it down a good amount, I want to keep the lead in the hand, if I get called I can safely assume he has an ace and shut down. It just looks suspicious and kills all your action if you go from 3-betting pre-flop to slowplaying post-flop.

You showed great strength preflop and this villain fold to CBET% is quite high. Good spot to CBET.

And I would make preflop 3BET little bit smaller - 16$. Or 18$ is fine?

anyone think this is a decent spot to just "set-mine" IP. (in """" cuz u can setmine profitably, and also play IP profitably being ur in the CO) just seems like messin around with UTG+1 raise seems kinda silly here, and we will get 4b often (or shud b gettin 4b often), and have to fold that obvi

seems like uncessary variance increase, esp if we arnt gonna CB the flop

(i prefer this squeeze with suited crap than a hand with value that has to fold to a 4b)
