[/ QUOTE ] I 3bet for value and protection, there's a ton of hands in the villains range which raise here and will get all in with which are worse than KK IMO. All the flush draws, one pair + straight draw hands, overpairs. I raised because there are so many scare cards which can hit on the turn. |

Re: KK - Awful turn card
Is calling flop and reevaluating turn terrible ? That board hit villains range real hard. If we decide to play for stacks here, I would probably consider shoving flop, since we will be pot commited with any raise, and not smarter on the turn.

Re: KK - Awful turn card
Turn doesn't matter, he has a set or 910. Now that the turn brings the third heart, he gets scared and gets it all in as soon as possible.

Re: KK - Awful turn card
FWIW villain had K9hearts. I think with these stacks I don't mind 3betting because there're so many hands in the villains range which would CR this flop. Combine that with the FE we get from 3betting and the times we get AI against an overpair or draw, I think it's +EV in the long run.
I definitly think that I should have bet more on the flop and 3bet more. |
