This is not resistance. He might be thinking your weak because you checked the turn. This might be an ace or a smaller pp. Your getting good odds. I call here.

Resistance? Where? You showed weakness on the turn and villain block bet the river. I'd bet 4 on the turn. I don't think I'd raise the river, not sure what's going to pay you off that's going to just call.

EDIT: Turn bet for value and charge the flush draw.

I feel really weak doing it, but I usually fold here. Since from my experiences, this is always A2os or 88 sometimes you get the odly played 99-JJ but not often enough to call.

Can't fold here, too good of odds to not call.

If I know he's capable of betting like 33+ here or air on the river than it's an easy call, but without having that type of info against him here i'd rather wait for somebody else to make this type of call against him and see what he does it with.

You can make a losing call here 75% of the time and still make money.

Bet $2 on flop
Bet $4 on turn and check river if called on turn.

Probably a stat that is important is his fold to cbet % - sometimes these LAGs float crap (especially with weak flop bet) He could have Ax so pay him off this time, make a note, and stack him next time when you beat his A rag.

As played- I'll call this all day
