since this is a difficult hand it won't get many replies but
[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] this play - he's two barreling a ton of air on that board. |

I dunno this seems pretty straightforward. W/o specific history aside from both knowing the other guy is decent I think this is good.

Re: 5/10 turn semibluff vs good regular
we can usually assume that his range is polarized between air and v good hands once he fires this turn, so its good from that perspective if he has a wide pf range. this deep you think he won't call without AQ or better? this is a fairly classic semi-bluff line so i can't see him folding a legit hand unless he's seen you doing this with sets etc. i don't hate it but we're putting in a ton of money with bad equity when we're wrong, esp if we get hero called by Ax hearts or whatever.

Re: 5/10 turn semibluff vs good regular
what are you trying to get him to fold? i call any ace cause i'm the only one in the world who plays sets like this and you can have 2 pair here never. i mean getting him to fold k hi is great, but thats it.

[/ QUOTE ] Why can't we have AQ? In general I think this play is pretty suicidal - your shove seems weak. Unless of course you are confident that villain will fold a pair of aces. |

Why can't we have AQ? [/ QUOTE ] pf. also forgot to say that if he's good enough to be firing TT here it gets better - but still not much. |

[/ QUOTE ] Plenty of players won't 3-bet AQo when 150bbs deep. I don't think AQ can be discounted. That said, I AQ may lead the turn, or put in a "normal" sized cr - as opposed to shoving. |

Re: 5/10 turn semibluff vs good regular
I don't like this, you're representing such a small range of hands here and I know I can see your cards and everything but it looks like exactly the sort of hand you have. If he is good I think he could look you up with any ace in this spot. I'm with Bobbo on c/f turn.
