Default WSOP Omaha/8 play in the HORSE event..

Was watching the O/8 play in this year's HORSE event, and it seemed that the quality of play from the world's best was somewhat less than stellar. Plenty of chasing, playing for half the pot, etc. Phil Hellmuth, who I actually regard highly in terms of skill at hold'em, was particularly bad... although of course he was convinced otherwise.

I thought the same thing when I was watching it. Either they didn't show alot of the standard hands or I am going to have to get my stud play better. I was thinking they ( the pros ) would be better. I may have to start playing low limit horse donkaments to check out the play.

Poker would have NEVER taken off showing O/8 events with the 3 sets of odds. By the time I'd deciphered the hand and the odds, play had moved on. No buzz from watching. And, yes, what looked to be weak play from many and, of course, edited whining from The Brat.
