Ames is off to a good start

am i making too much of this or was the gallery applause for Ames off the 1st tee considerably muted, even vs. the previous pairings?

Is it just me or is Woody's takeaway ridiculously slow?

I wonder how many less majors Tiger would have won if Daly had the work ethic of Vijay Singh.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know, but Daly might the most talent in the game. In his interview after the third round, he was saying how this week that he just started looking at putts from behind the hole and just started "stooping down on the green" to actually look at his putts. Pretty amazing. If he had a decent coach, he might have a couple more majors.

Damn near holed out for a share, too. Woody certainly fits the Bob May profile, and it prolly helps he's not playing w/Tiger.

Goddamnit, now I got a tiny [censored] split-screen so they can show the press conference announcing that they still don't know [censored] about the trapped miners.
