NL200 - interesting river decisions

No real reads on villain. He doesn't seem all that great and is sitting short, so no reason to assume he's particularly good I'd imagine.

I probably should have folded PF. Given that I didn't, I think I should have bet the flop.

I felt like a call on the river was too weak, but could I fold to the push given that I raised? Flame away b/c I'm pretty sure I deserve it.

Raising when it's been checked down to the river on anything less than the nuts is asking to be re-raised by the nuts. This is a rule I really try to stick to. It seems really weak to call here but your hand isn't that strong and what are you getting value out of, really? Is a 2 really calling that raise?

i think this hand is played fine, unless you have real reason to believe he'd slowplay the flush on the turn

Do not bet the flop

I call the river but I don't feel great about doing so ... I've just seen crap enough here to justify it. You might also be splitting with 78 in which case a fold costs you $35. I feel like another 78 here is probably more likely than a flush.

I won't correct it - I'll leave my stupidity to posterity but yes any 7 is also a possibility.

One thing I thought made this hand unique was that both my cards are used for the straight. I thought it was very possible 77 or 67 could have bet that river and would have also called a raise. I also thought I would have heard from a flush on the turn.

I'm just starting to work NL200 tables into my NL100 sets so I probably don't have a great feel for what will bet / call / raise in some situations.

Edit: Forgot about A7. Probably any 7, though I feel those are the most likely.
