Re: anybody flatcalling 4th nuts on river?
Wow, he bets 33% of pot on turn, and you let him stay in with any draw. Wow. I dunno. Raise turn.

[/ QUOTE ] If hes on a draw, this is the only street left that you are getting more money in (Unless he bluffs). I see ppl making these small donkbets with draws all the time. You also wanna build the pot when you have a strong hand. |

Re: anybody flatcalling 4th nuts on river?
Marshall -
Raising the turn is an automatic no brainer absolute must. If he's drawing, he won't put money in on the river unless it hits, so you must raise now to get value. If he has some sort of a hand, you want to get the pot built up so you can make a big bet on the river with your monster. I would raise the flop here a lot of times in fact. On the river, I wouldn't hate a flat call, as he can't call a raise with many holdings here. I don't think the raise is terrible, but his action in the pot makes me paranoid of KQs. He could have like AKs or AQs perhaps and those would likely pay the river raise, so I don't mind the push, and your hand is very underrepped, etc. |

Re: anybody flatcalling 4th nuts on river?
sorry i didnt give enough history prior to giving the hand specifics ...
i was playing very aggressive, 33/26/7 and he had already seen me flat call flop and turn and bluff river on two occasions. he was playing pretty passive as i had tried to bluff him off an overpair that he checkcalled on all three streets. **i bluffed him on the one spot shown w/ just bottom pair. |
