50NL- TT (Thin River Value Bet)
Villain is VPIP 70%
I really suck at river play- I've been working on trying to get in some thin value bets. What do you think of this? Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 7 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $80.55 UTG+1: $9.25 MP1: $51.15 CO: $46 Button: $89.20 SB: $51 BB: $46.35 Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($6.25, 4 players) BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $3</font>, 2 folds, BB calls. Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($12.25, 2 players) BB checks, Hero checks. Re: 50NL- TT (Thin River Value Bet)
I like it personally. He will show up with a J sometimes but I think you will get a call from lowers pairs often enough.
As a disclaimer this is part of my game I'm working on to so the above may be terrible advice. |
