Kiera,

The link to the archives doesn't work. But while you're at it, why not fix the archives page as I have previously suggested in the past, in line with how most posters use it. Instead of taking you first to the older digest page which then has a link to the archive server, it should be the other way around. That is, it takes you immediately to the archive server, where one can find a link at the top of the page to the older digests page.

The sidebar looks great overall and it was a very nice touch coordinating the background of same with a poster's skin preference.

The color clash with my blues theme gives me a headache. Is it possible to make the sidebar colors match the theme used when logged in?

Yeah, it really shouldn't be that difficult. Just set the background color so that it's the same as the background color of topics with new posts.

Something as subtle as this makes a pretty big difference.

or this

I'm sure the stylesheet for each forum style has a variable for each of these colors. Probably a quick change.

Can we get some wordwrapping? It squeezes the actual forum horizontally much more than the previous sidebar. :|

Or 1 or 2 collapsed topics will expand briefly.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is happening every time a page loads and it is really starting to bother me, as I go to click on a link and it suddenly moves. Like make a post, as page loads go to click on something and then the topics collapse again.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not a huge deal obviously, but I also find this annoying.

Did the sidebar always get skinnier when you shrunk the browser from side to side? I like that a lot.

hmm it seems everytime a page loads, the sidebar is fully expanded by default, and then reverts to your previous setting once the page is fully loaded.

I dunno about everyone else, but it's kind of annoying the way the sidebar loads as fully expanded first, and then closes afterwards. But maybe my loadtimes are just slow?

[/ QUOTE ]

I have the same issue. My load times are not slow at all.

It is annoying, but nothing that can't be ignored.

the javascript that controls the stuff triggers after the page is finished loading

I don't know enough about javascript to know if there's an easy way to change that (although it seems like there should be?)

and the width of the sidebar doesn't seem to be fixed at all... sometimes it will be wider or narrower than other times, which isn't a big deal, it just seems weird
