i ll come to the us in july/august and travel the country with some friends. we'll definetly make a stop in cedar point. (actually thats one of the main reasons i wanna go lol, love coasters)

Ehhh, a 10-yo wouldn't feel guilty later, right? Right??? I revert to a child when I'm as tired as an amusement park trip requires. I know it was childish and am making amends as best I can.

If you live that close get a season pass, they're wicked cheap (like $150 IIRC?). I used to get one every summer when I was in high school in Columbus. My gf's family at the time had a house like 20 minutes from the park and we went there every weekend basically with our friends.

I think I'm gonna take a trip this summer to Putnim Bay and Cedar Point via boat this summer. Hopefully gas comes down a little though.

I took a 2 day trip here from Toronto about 2 years ago. Well, well, worth it. Went in late may on a tuesday, rode every single roller coaster we wanted to, many multiple times. All but the huge names (Top Thrill Dragster, Millenium Force etc) were walk-ons.

Top Thrill Dragster didn't actually look that good to me. Shoot out of the station, go up, turn, come down. But sweet baby jesus...the speed and acceleration that you get is amazing, one of the best roller coasters I've ever been on.

I usually do a trip their about every 2-3 years with my friends. All of the coasters there are great. The Raptor is my all-time favorite roller coaster.

SECRET: If you do a weekend trip - go to the waterpark on Saturday and the regular park on Sunday. Saturdays the lines are ridiculous, and for some reason the park is always empty on Sundays.
