What if Chris Webber knew they were out of Time Outs?

BURN IN HELL YOU BASTARD.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh, I know this one! The Wolverines still lose.

Cam Neely didn't get his brutal cheap shot from Ulf Samuelsson

[/ QUOTE ]

Good one.. The two athletes I like to see highlights of are Cam Neely and Barry Sanders..

Neely could do it all.. He could skate, shoot, pass, hit, and fight.

Total bad ass.

What if...
Len Bias and Reggie Lewis didn't snort a line the size of a snow bank.

[/ QUOTE ]

Amazing what death can do to a franchise...

[/ QUOTE ]
Wasn't Reggie Lewis later outed by a friend as an occasional user, but that played no part in his death? Yours is the first time I've ever heard someone say otherwise...

Come on, it's not like Webber decided "I'll take a timeout here!" He was trapped, down 2, with 11 seconds left in the game. You're like the guy that blames Bill Buckner or Steve Bartman.

He was pretty screwed there, he traveled before he got in that position if memory serves me correctly.

Clearly the biggest one is Jordan. Had he won 8 straight, or maybe 9 or 10 if they didn't break up the Bulls after 1998, his legend would be even larger.

[/ QUOTE ]
I've definitely thought about this one, and don't agree that the above would have been the outcome. The Bulls barely beat the Suns in '93 (probably the most they were challenged in their six title years). I've always thought that Jordan would have burned his teammates out at some point and that by taking nearly two full seasons off he was able to come back refreshed, with new purpose and drive.

If he had played continuously I really doubt we would have seen two of the most dominating regular seasons in history ('96 and '97, respectively).

I think many people would disagree with this.

The biggest one is Len Bias. Not just on a sports level, but on a political one as well.

Also consider on a sports level it completely changed the face of the Celtics, and the Terps.
