Default quick check - L08 AA35

little rusty with my game.

i open/raise AA35 in early position. folded to steaming button who calls and weak SB.

flop is K76, two daimonds. i have none. SB checks, i bet, button raises, SB folds. i call?

turn: 7. i check/call?

river: 4 of diamonds. i lead out?

didn't know how to maximize my money here.

Neither your hi nor lo hands are nut-tastic, but then you're head's up against a steamer. So while your hands aren't great, they're decent enough to c/c it to the river I think. Being overly aggressive here could cost you needlessly; given your holdings and position I think minimizing losses should take precedence over maximizing gains.
There's a reason BB raised the flop. If it's the nut flush/nut lo draw you'll be really sorry you hit the gas pedal on this one. Call the flop. If you're feeling adventurous go ahead and bet the scary turn and see if the steamer gives up. But c/c'ing isn't terrible here, I think.

I think the line proposed by the original poster is fine.
