(OT) Coaching

Now, I'm not talking about the kind of annoying coaching like "How can you call that raise with J4 off-suit?" kinda stuff.

But, does there come a time on the bubble where you see someone make a fold in there BB getting like 15:1 , and it'd be advantageous for you to have them call, where you just say "dude, you've gotta make that call..." (Obviously you wouldn't say this during the hand.)

I would like to end this by saying I have NEVER done this..

there's no point coaching people after the fact - that makes them better, and when people play correctly, you don't win as much. the next time they make a mistake, it could be against you.

look at the fundamental theorem of poker for a better explained version of this.


of course, it's unethical to comment during hands too.
