...what bad hands can he have here that we beat? bottom line is without a read that he is braindead, his calling range of our push is going to crush us.

[/ QUOTE ]

Also, I think you're throwing around the word 'crush' a little bit easy.

dude that's such an absurd response, seriously wtf are you thinking.

any q? how does a bare q even get here.

kx, maybe but there is only really 1 legitiment kx hand i see here often enough and that's kq, and even then i still think that checks the turn very often.

and 98, are you kidding me??

i really think his calling range will crush us, i expect us to be ahead very rarely. maybe 5-10% of the time. and that is generous imo.

I was jesting, check-call and check-fold seems pretty good. You can even block the turn.

If you're trying to balance your Twain, then c/r turns w/ draws and monsters are cool, but not on this board.

guys, i wouldn't consider our hand a draw. it's not a monster either, though. it's a hand with showdown value that has a nice draw, but will also be behind a fair ammount here. not enough to just fold turn, and obviously not with nut outs(and maybe some non-nut depending on what we're against). and of course sometimes we have the best hand.
