Bernie, you not going to play online at all after the 7th?

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course not....

[ QUOTE ]
It was already "illegal" in WA before the new laws passed anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

It wasn't classified as a felony.

I'm also curious as to how they'll enforce it. Just as I'm curious as to how the first lawsuit against it will turn out.

Hi Bernie,

See you at the tables on the 8th. Well after finals that day anyway.

To WA state hippy scum: it's time to go to Hempfest wearing online poker room gear this year.

[/ QUOTE ]

This may be a problem because according to the Washington State Gambling Commission.
[ QUOTE ]
no one may advertise or solicit citizens of Washington
State to wager online when a fee is involved to play
the games.

[/ QUOTE ]

I assume that means t-shirts too.

Ah, so advertising to play at WPEX's poker room is okay then.

True, it wasn't a felony. I'll be paying attention to the poker news more closely in the future.

For those that do want to play in WA, it may be a good idea to start using proxies. Not to say that you should...but if you are.

Does this mean that the Seattle live poker scene will be huge?

All those tilted internet poker players could perhaps send some serious ca$h into the live games there?

The state has already stated they won't be spending any more enforcing this law. I don't think any WA players really have to worry that much.

More fun political motions that most people will ignore, I guess.
