A monumental accomplishment for sbrugby.

I remember when aba was on HSP3 and some were saying he was a massive tellbox and hadn't adjusted to live poker, etc. This win by should pretty much end a lot of the silly debates about live vs online poker. All the ranting about Farha having some sort of live edge and being so great at PLO...

This match is a turning point in poker history, the online superstar took down the old-school gambler in the highest stakes match. Poker will be taken over by internet players.

Whilst I think it's great that Aba did well, and whilst the most LIKELY reality is that he has an edge in this game, it by no means proves anything. The sample size is just too small, a couple of bad beats and he'd be down, which wouldn't prove Farha had the edge.

The last 3 days must feel more than just the satisfaction of the money considering the way Farha has treated Brian in the past.

While I agree that this is monumental, lets not assume Brian has a hudge edge on Sammy in PLO. If this were televised with hole cards, we could know alot more but still not enough to really see who's best. Results don't tell the whole story (if I remember correctly, Brian did get stuck 1.2 million before this)

Thanks for the great thread Sammy Brian Brandon and others.
