Default 2 pr river decision

Main villain in this hand is a tough AP reg. Button seems fishy, but I don't have many hands on him.

would he play 87 this way? If so you should call. You have 16% equity against 87 and any 2 hearts. He probably doesn't call any 2 suited in the BB here, but we also probably need to weight him getting to the river (and cring) with 87. If he's got a little bit of crazy in him I call.

you should call... he could be trying to represent hearts with an 8, he could have 87, he could be stupid with AT . Its probably around neutral ev calling vs folding but calling is more fun

foldfoldfold. i usually dont think and call here tho.

villain can only be bluffing with 8x and value-raising worse with 87 and those hands usually fold turn so his range is pretty dominated by flushes and a7

FWIW, I know of no one on absolute who folds the turn here with 87 or 8xs.

ur like never ahead, but i always autocall anyways. looks like hearts, i guess a7 sometimes, i mean its just not a line that a funky-play-person would take with a stupid hand on this particular board.

Yeah, this one was a phony. I just wanted to check up. I bet the river and both folded, but as I bet, I told myself "if he checkraises here, I have to fold"

On a side note, how many people tell themselves stuff like this while they play? Like hand-reading out loud and going through the various contengencies before they happen and stuff? I don't do it 100% all the time, but I definitely do it more when playing well.
