Default Impossible to set dell 2001FP and 2007FP monitors to the same height?

If I'm not mistaken the Dell 2007FP replaced dell's older 20" screen, the 2001FP

I have one of each -- WTF? It isn't possible to get these 2 to sit next to each other at the same height? (without stacking books underneath one of them, etc). The default heights of each are different and not possible to set them both to the same.

Seems ridiculous, anyone else run into this issue?

Buy a dual monitor stand. I am about to purchase a new (2nd) Dell 20.1 FP monitor and was worried about this problem. I have one of the old ones, and am forced to purchase one of the new ones.

On another note, I recently saw a pic on here of a silver Dell 20.1 inch (insted of black). What color are the new 2007's?

I got a new 2007, and its black, but it is widescreen. Not sure if that has anything to do with it though.

You know you can adjust the height of the 2001FP?

edit: And according to an internet review the 2007 is adjustable, too.

I would be sorta incredibly shocked if the stand wasn't adjustable.

"Stacking books under it"?

Correct - they are both adjustable, but both adjust to 2 different settings only, and you can't make one match the other

What is a dual monitor stand? Any links?

Thanks

I have three monitors.

All of them are adjusted, and not "locked" in place. Just let them sit there, they'll be fine.

I've got 1 2001FP and 1 2007FP as my setup. Not sure what you mean by not being able to adjust to the same height.
