Rocky + White Russians + Poker = Non optimal play?
Finishing a long session...one eye on Rocky on Spike network...ridiculous, I've seen the movie at least 50 times, but I have to watch.
I really mangled this one up, i think...i gotta bet the turn? Do i fold or call the river? And am I cool or a doofus if i dress like Paulie for the Rocky Balboa premeire? Villain is 17/11, haven't noticed anything unusual. Re: Rocky + White Russians + Poker = Non optimal play?
IMO a turn bet would be for information...information that villian indeed hit his flush when you get c/r'd out of your seat. getting almost 3:1 on river call...so if you think he has the flush <75% of the time then call

...pukes!
Fold, I'm pretty sure 17/11's limp UTG w/ pocket pairs, and suited aces. I think you're beat here more than pot's giving you. While Paulie is cool, unless your a short round fellow I don't know if you will be able to pull it off. However, who cares have fun and enjoy the show. |
