Turn top 2 but villain takes strange line ($25 6-max)
Villain just sat down and has been pretty unremarkable.

Lead flop. Lead turn. As played, I really don't know what to tell you.

9 times out of 10 I'll lead the flop. They'd been folding every time, though, so I tried something different this time.

Re: Turn top 2 but villain takes strange line ($25 6-max)
You should lead the flop here. You're hand figures to be best at the moment and there are a lot of draws to gain value from.
His range is wider than a straight and it includes lesser 2 pair hands. Ughhh, as played I think you should flat call and block/value bet the river for ~3/4 (fold to raise) assuming non- heart, Q, 8. I think we are way ahead lesser 2pairs that we can get value from on the river or way behind sets/made straights. And also, check/call on the flop is meh. It's not horrible, but you should be leading the turn every time if you just c/c the flop. It's 3way and you don't want it to be checked through with all the draws. |
