Default tricky 77 hand

hi

virtually no stats nor reads on sb. button is 90% vpip. table rather loose-passive, so i limp utg.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero calls, 4 folds, Button calls, SB raises, 1 fold, Hero calls, Button calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button folds, SB calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

River: (6.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero ?

that river bet was so weird, i found it very strong. what do you think?

i'd call. sb's line seems odd to me; if he had some monster like qq or a flush he'd probably c/r the turn? i suppose it's possible he just made trip 6s with a6 or something. maybe he has aq/kq no heart? i think he might also be putting you on a busted flush draw so he could be (semi)bluffing.

i call. There's something ultra fishy about this thing. With the flushy flop, his range of hands that he could be drawing with opens up a lot. I expect to win a lot.

grunch,

Call him, outside chance he has trip 6s (given the strength shown on the river)but definitely worth a call.

His line is strange. I would lead this flop with any 2 if I raised pf for instance. But can we do anything else but call?

Grunch..

PF: check/call.. sure, I like pocket pairs pf

flop: check/fold. You didn't hit trips, and with that board you have little chance of improving.

As played.. I'm thinking villian has a flush draw, but the bet on the paired 6 makes me think he made something. You were acting very aggro previous to that. I doubt your hand is any good, 6:1 odds.. I'd fold..
