I hate playing from the SB. I'm getting called by both those lose fish 80% here so I figure I'd rather play a small pot OOP.

I raise preflop. Why not if they call with ATC? You are miles ahead against their calling range and if you hit just build a pot. As played this is indeed a fold.

raise to 1.25/1.5 pre, and you wont have this problem.
