NL25 always an easy fold I guess
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
BB ($21.65) UTG ($35.50) MP ($11.50) CO ($25.70) Button ($27.05) Hero ($24.05) Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop: ($0.75) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets $0.75, BB raises to $2.5, MP calls $2.50, Hero folds. Turn: ($6.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets $8.75, MP calls $8.75 (All-In). River: ($0) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: $24 Results in white below: BB has 3h 2d (straight, six high). MP has Jh 6h (two pair, sixes and fours). Outcome: BB wins $24. I hate playing from the SB. I'm getting called by both those lose fish 80% here so I figure I'd rather play a small pot OOP. Would you raise AJs preflop here? Fold is easy I guess. I used to spew away chips in those spots, thanks pokergod I corrected this leak. |

Re: NL25 always an easy fold I guess
I raise preflop. Why not if they call with ATC? You are miles ahead against their calling range and if you hit just build a pot. As played this is indeed a fold.

raise to 1.25/1.5 pre, and you wont have this problem.
