spain or italy force an IP ban with the last year or two of online gambling sites.

[/ QUOTE ] Im definitely no expert on this at all my understanding is that in australia we cant play on australian sites or on sites associated with australian sportsbooks etc so effectively I can continue to play poker at all the (what used to be) major sites. anyway nothing is enforced so whatever they have written down is a toothless tiger. |

Italy nas a block on all internet gambling sites because they were trying to negotiate a deal with one big site (giving them a captive market for a piece of the pie).
That fell through, so they copied the UK and it will be legal and taxed soon. |

Players are not taxed, as all gambling winnings in the UK are tax-free. |
