Re: Overpair facing resistance
call. A raise isnt going to fold him. From a typical 3bet range from a stealer, only 99,jj,qq,kk and aa can beat you at this stage.

Re: Overpair facing resistance
Would a TAG see my pf raise as a steal when there was one limper already?

Re: Overpair facing resistance
with a gutshot and 2 tens for a set I'd say it's an easy call. I don't want to raise and expose myself to a 3-bet. BB certainly seems confident but will often try a turn c/r with a big hand.

With one limper in, he would broaden your range, but still reraise with a decent quality hand. Still, I take the same line as before. |

Call down. [/ QUOTE ] agreed, alot of hands thatthe BB would 3-bet against you with have you beat and considering his table image, although the sample size is too small to make anything of it. Expect to be against Ax occaisionally in this situation. |

Re: Overpair facing resistance
Do you think he might 3-bet preflop and flop with hands I beat other than A9?

Re: Overpair facing resistance
Just call every street and raise if you spike something. What does the flop raise accomplish?
