Default Re: The Worst Strategy You\'ve Overheard at a Table

A couple of weeks ago playing 3-6 LHE. Old lady next to me in MP open limps. CO raises. Folds to BB, who calls, Old Lady calls.
Flop comes KKT.
BB checks, Old Lady bets, CO raises, BB folds, Old Lady calls.
Turn is a 5, Old Lady checks, CO bets, Old Lady calls.
River is a 7, Old Lady checks, CO bets, Old Lady calls.
CO turns over TT for a flopped boat. Old Lady turns over KK for flopped quads. The table goes crazy! DID SHE REALLY JUST FLOP QUADS AND CHECK CALL THE WHOLE WAY??? I lean over and ask her why she never raised him, she says "I was worried about what he had. I've been burned like that too many times!" It takes everything within me not keel over. It takes about 3 hours for the scared old lady to lose 4 or 5 buy ins. She actually complained to me a couple of times that she never wins big pots!! Good times
