Guts is a good way to get a real adrenaline rush or lose your house. Stay away.

At a local card game a few weeks back, we played a round of guts which was truly brutal. We play 3 card guts where you pass a card to the person on your left. In this version, a straight beats a flush.

The pot got as high as $520 with 3 people staying 3 times during the game. Luckily, I won the last pot with a 9 high straight.
