I dont think this will be good for the game. A crappy movie about poker isnt going to be good for the game, poker already has TONS of exposure, if crap keeps coming out its just gunna be bad for the game overall, cuz people will get sick of crappy poker stuff and then sick of poker.

The reason rounders was good for the game, was in part cuz it was actually a decent movie

I saw Casino Royale tonight.

Every time there was any ZOMG MAJOR DRAMA INVOLVING POKERR scene, the entire audience audibly "oooh'ed" and "ahh'ed".

Yeah, they actually finished shooting a long time ago (at least a year) but the testing went so badly they had to reshoot and rework a large portion of the movie.

This looks like they took, "Color of Money," tried to "rework" it for a younger, hipper audience. The preview was almost more than I could take. I am putting to O/U on crappy gambling cliches and quotes at about 400 for this thing.
