Shooter is an old school limit donater who is reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllyy passive most of the time except for a few rare situations where he is nonsensically aggressive. I would be far more inclined to fold vs. sh00ter than other tightish players whose postflop tendencies I didn't know well.

call. only conceivable hand that beats you is 88, and the fact that he just called the flop makes 88 less likely

[/ QUOTE ]

Or more likely rather since if he had 9 10 he may 3-bet and try to get the $ in now with deep stacks. Since the stacks are so deep and he has 88 he may be leary about 9 10 and wants the board to pair before he puts his whole stack in.

[/ QUOTE ]

good point, with stacks this deep 88 is more likely to just call this flop. i still like getting your money in on the turn

Vs Sh00ter, this is probably a fold with the way he has been playing lately.

Of course, I still call.

get outta here, no way you can fold this. how can anyone just say "this looks like a fold?" at this level? aren't these games so loose and aggressive that it'd be sinful to fold this?

Default RESULTS

Yeah loose and agg sure but not stupid. I mean who makes this play for most of their stack without a boat?

Needless to say I shoved and he did not fold. He had 88.

I seriously believe that if I had another 30-60sec to act I could have folded it...seriously. I timed all the way down before shoving but oh well.
