Default Silent Hill (trailer) best game-movie adaptation of all time?

http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_p...hill/high.html

Awesome.

Possible best videogame to movie adaptation of all time? Obviously it's early but the trailer looks really good. As bad as Resident Evil and others were this would have to be pretty lackluster to not be the best. I recognized almost everything from the trailer, and if the game stays on course with the story from the game it will be great. It looks like the atmosphere from the game is dead on. I'm calling it now that it'll be the best adaptation of all time.

It looks interesting, I like how the sound effects and the feel (from what I could tell) are the same as the game.

I got chills when the siren started to wail. The soundtrack from the game will be used in the movie too, which is excellent because it was completely ambient. Im certain that the opening score is from the game and so is the ending score in the trailer.

It's got Midwich Elementary, the crazy cult woman - it looks like the real story that has always needed to become a movie. God I hope it pulls through.

Xenosaga is pretty much already a movie, does that count?

It reminds me a lot of Resident Evil, except there is no Milla Jovovich kicking ass.
