I would call. Because of his vpip his AF is misleading. he probably does this with 2 pair hands, worse straights and a rivered set. definately a call imo. Its only 20 bbs.

consider 3betting preflop.

Call. Yea his AF is only .9 but that is aggressive for a 70vpip. A 70vpip doesn't know how to play, let alone assess his relative hand strength. You probably see alot of 2pairs/bluffs here. SNAP call.

Bleh. Isn't a flush at least half his range? Assuming he does this with K9/79, 88, and flushes, calling is -EV.
Also, I 3-bet this sometimes (maybe 30%?). It's not my standard play, though, should it be even with virtually no fold equity preflop?

Easy call. Raising here is spew IMO because you're only getting called by a flush (I don't think a set is calling a shove and I don't think a lower straight is in his range).

Oh, and FWIW, almost all of the .9 AF were donk minbets. I guess I should have included that in the OP.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm usually a calling station but thought that calling here was spew.

With 70/0/.9 stats it looks like hes limping with many hands preflop. Any two suited connectors can definitely be in his range with the 70% vpip. 2c3c etc. etc. I would fold here because his line is very suspicious with the checking and all of a sudden putting out a pot-sized value bet on the river. Looks very suspect! From my experience, if he had a set, straight or two pair you would either see a very small bet or an oversized bet in a futile attempt to protect their hand. With a pot-sized bet from a guy with those stats I fold and save the 5$ for a better time.

[ ] People bet the river to protect against draws
[ ] Making reads based on thinking they do is a clever idea

I instantly call and take a note.

Edit: I also pot the turn.
