Default Full Tilt Pro - Hit and Run Artist?

I sometimes rail the FT LHE games if they are running when my session is over. Was interested to see David Oppenheim playing HU as I've heard it reported that he is a world class LHE player. I'd never seen him before.

He sat in with someone whose name I don't recall...Flopso? Foghat? Something with an F. They were playing 200/400. Had just started...

Flopso asks if DO will 2 table him. DO says no but he'll play higher. No response...

DO loses 3k of an 8k buyin thru the first dozen hands or so. Gets even over the course of another 8 hands +/-. They play the first big pot and DO turns trip 6s and they get 4/5 bets in on the turn. DO is up 1.5k now.

DO: "GG"

Flopso: "WTF is this?"

DO...Gone! (on his bike)

Railtard: "Hit and run what a douche he always does that"

I would interested to know if this Full Tilt Pro really hit and runs people on a regular basis.

Anyone know?

I doubt it, but many pros have lives that can be interruped abruptly by phone calls, and other 'business' matters. Alot of the pros randomly leave during a session and come back 30 mins later.

Never seen Oppenheim play so I can't say if he specializes in this.

I have nothing against the guy. He seemed likable on TV and may indeed be so.

The thing is this wasn't just a random case of someone sitting in and changing their minds about playing. They started at one limit, went to another, sat in a 6 max for a few orbits, all the while chatting and making arrangements to play.

When they finally settled in at hu 200-400 it was clearly with the idea of playing a hu match. That's what makes it so surprising and cheesy. Flopso was clearly miffed.

It would be perfectly understandable if something came up irl to interrupt the match. That would have been my assumption except for the "GG". If you have to leave and you're going to type something why not "gtg" or the like? Maybe that's what he meant.

I hope so, because a Full Tilt pro with the reputation of being an uber sh lhe expert going around cheesing unknowns out of 1-2k a pop is unsavory.

I was playing The Grinder today on a FT hu lhe table and some guy on the rail was complaining to him that he hit and ran him the other day. Apparently I was playing The Grinder's wife on his account and she explained that she may have done it because shes pregnant and had to go to the doctors. The funny part is she played me for about 20 minutes, ran sick hot, then right after talking to this guy about hitting and running she got up lol. Not really a hit and run but kinda funny IMO
