Default 3 Barrel Bluff, is this awful?

Villain is 44/12/2.2 and has only folded to 33% of cbets.
I have been playing 21/20

Poker Stars, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

MP: $422.10
CO: $777.50
BTN: $473.20
SB: $427.50
BB: $406
Hero (UTG): $434.10

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $16, MP calls $16, CO calls $16, 3 folds

Flop: ($54) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
Hero bets $40, MP folds, CO calls $40

Turn: ($134) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $100, CO calls $100

River: ($334) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $278.10 and is All-In, CO calls $278.10

Results: $890.20 Pot ($3 Rake)
CO showed A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Threes) and WON $887.20 (+$453.10 NET)
Hero showed A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a pair of Threes) and LOST (-$434.10 NET)

Basically on the flop I decide to fire into 2 opponants beacuse of the dry flop texture. With the villains smooth call, I am putting him either on a Jack or PP. I felt that the K on the turn was a great card to bluff at.

When we got the river I decided he was the type who wouldnt have folded a Jack with my 2nd barrel and that I was forced to 3 barrel push to get him off of what I believed to be a weakish hand.

Is my thinking terrible? What do you think of this line??

I like this a lot more against guys who aren't giant call boxes.

The river doesn't help you and villain knows that, so your shove just looks like a pure bluff to me even before I saw your posted results(don't do that in original post please). Try the 3barrel bluff when turn&river are both scary cards to the villain instead.

Do I get him to fold a J here often enough with a push?

It's more useful to think about what he thinks you have, or what he thinks you think he has.

You raised PF, led 3way flop with a near-PSB. More than likely you have a J, which makes turn a bluff and your line isn't K-pair by the time you shoved river. If he does have a J he thinks he has your J outkicked, and he also knows that YOU think he has a J not a K. If I were him I would put you on a total bluff or at best AJ, which he probably doesn't lose to.

Of course that's to not look at the result..
