Doesn't this scoring system go against whats considered optimal tourney play? IE trying to win it instead of just grinding out places?

ya if only the ppl involved were well rolled enough to not sacrifice a ton of equity for the $5K they have at stake in the prop bet

Well, it kind of depends on how you define the best team-is the best team the one that has one decent cash? If it is, then yes, this system isn't the one you are looking for.

I'm sure this prop bet is more important to these guys than winning $1.4 mil, too.

I was just curious since I heard mention earlier of ITM/FT/Win bonii, which seems to make sense. But the scoring just seems pretty lame IMO. I guess AJ will have to console his loss with a giant pile of money if he does deep and loses to guys folding out on the bubble. Whatev.

randal dani and i are sorry that we messed up the bet by folding towards the money, but we just wanted to do our best to win this 15k prop bet.

the 1.3m is just such a distant second to the bragging rights that can be had!
