It doesn't matter now since there's fewer remaining. Your method gives everyone the same points if they are still alive. There's a bit of a difference in expected points value if someone is the chip leader versus the short stack. No big deal. That's all I was referring to. No big deal though. If it gets down to heads up, or all of one team gets knocked out a quick calc of how many more places the guy needs to survive or last longer to win would be nice.

[/ QUOTE ] There's two totals-one based on current place in the tourney, and one based on current points based on people left in the tourney.
